Identify before upload
Record make, model, engine, transmission and ECU/TCU numbers. Automatic identification should be shown separately from the manually selected profile so any mismatch is obvious.
Protect the original
Store the untouched original in a secure location and use an operation number for every related file. Compressed delivery reduces storage, but naming and revision history must remain clear.
Calibrate with a declared target
List every requested service, hardware change, diagnostic code and turnaround expectation. This reduces assumptions and gives the engineer one coherent technical brief.
Validate delivery
Check file size, checksum requirements, programming instructions and post-write diagnostics. If a revision is necessary, keep it attached to the same operation rather than starting an untraceable file chain.
