TCU & gearbox tuning

Engine output and transmission control must agree. TCU requests are reviewed using gearbox type, software identification, clutch limits and the associated ECU torque model.

WHAT THIS WORKFLOW PROVIDES

Controlled from identification to delivery.

Coordinated torque limits
Refined shift behaviour
Software-specific review
ECU/TCU identity traceability

Why the original file matters

ECU family alone is not enough to identify a safe calibration target. Hardware number, software number, update state, reading method and file integrity all matter. AllChip OS keeps the original read and automatic identity result beside the selected vehicle profile so a mismatch is visible before work begins.

What to send

Upload the unedited original read whenever possible. Add identification files, ECU labels, diagnostic codes, hardware changes, fuel grade and the customer’s technical target. Clear input creates a faster engineering decision and a more traceable result.

After delivery

The result remains attached to the operation with its timestamp, status, engineer note and revision history. If further validation is needed, the workshop can send logs or supporting files without losing the original context.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Before you submit.

Can TCU tuning be requested alone?+

Yes, when the gearbox, TCU software and current ECU state are clearly identified.
