Intake & swirl-flap calibration support
Swirl and intake flaps influence charge motion, EGR mixing, shut-down behaviour and diagnostics. Position faults may originate in deposits, linkage, actuators, wiring, sensors or the air path.
Controlled from identification to delivery.
Any change affecting emissions or road certification must comply with the vehicle's jurisdiction.
Understand the component function
The same visible flap can serve different control purposes across engines. Removing a diagnostic response without understanding air-mass, EGR and shutdown interactions can introduce new faults.
Diagnose command and feedback
Compare commanded and measured position, check linkage travel, actuator supply, sensor signals and air-path contamination. Preserve freeze-frame and related codes.
Request scope
Provide the exact ECU software, confirmed hardware state, diagnosis and intended repair or specialist application. Road-vehicle emissions and safety functions must remain compliant.
Before you submit.
Is every swirl-flap DTC caused by a broken flap?+
No. Deposits, linkage wear, actuator supply, sensors and airflow faults can create similar codes.
