Determine the OEM purpose
Do not assume an exhaust flap exists only for sound. Inspect the control strategy, actuator feedback, fault state and thermal context.
Define conditions, not a permanent shortcut
A defensible request specifies drive mode, load, speed and temperature conditions. Permanent activation can create noise non-compliance, actuator wear or unintended thermal behaviour.
Validate the complete exhaust
Confirm hardware, catalyst or filter configuration, leaks and local noise rules before calibration.
