ECU calibration · Efficiency under real load

Economy & fleet calibration

Fuel use depends on route, payload, gearing, driver behaviour, aftertreatment state, tyres and mechanical condition. Economy calibration can refine usable torque and operating strategy, but it cannot override those fundamentals or guarantee a fixed saving.

WHAT THIS WORKFLOW PROVIDES

Controlled from identification to delivery.

Duty-cycle review
Drivability-led targets
No unsupported saving claim
Baseline measurement guidance

Start with the duty cycle

A delivery van, motorway tractor and lightly loaded passenger car do not use the same speed-load region. The useful calibration target therefore begins with route, payload, transmission and driver data.

What calibration can and cannot do

Improved low- and mid-range control may reduce unnecessary gear changes or throttle demand. It cannot repair dragging brakes, poor injectors, underinflated tyres, restricted aftertreatment or an unsuitable route strategy.

Measure a valid baseline

Compare like-for-like distance, payload, ambient conditions and refill method over enough operating time. A dashboard average from one short journey is not a defensible result.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Before you submit.

Is a fuel-saving percentage guaranteed?+

No. Consumption is dominated by operating conditions, vehicle health, load and driver behaviour. Any result must be measured against a valid baseline.
