A slow or failed start can come from voltage drop, starter speed, temperature sensing, fuel pressure, injector leak-off, compression, synchronization or immobilizer state. Calibration is not the first diagnostic step.

Capture the failed condition
Record coolant and intake temperature, cranking speed, rail or fuel pressure, synchronization, battery voltage and relevant codes during the actual symptom. A warm engine tested cold cannot confirm a hot-start complaint.
Protect the mechanism
Increasing starting quantity or changing thresholds can mask low cranking speed or pressure loss. The mechanical and electrical cause should be repaired before a software request is considered.
Calibration scope
Where a verified software-specific issue or non-standard legitimate application exists, provide the original file and diagnostic evidence so the change remains narrow and reviewable.

Can software fix every hot-start problem?+
No. Weak cranking, pressure loss, injectors, sensors and mechanical wear are common causes and require diagnosis or repair.
